11R / 29L is the designation of the new runway in Vienna.

The Austrian court ruled today, 18. March, in favor of Vienna Airport and granted permission to build a third runway. The lane will be designated 11R / 29L and will be parallel to the existing lane 11/29. It will be located 2400m south of RWY 11/29.

This decision came after the Austrian Administrative Court dismissed 6. March, the last of the objections / complaints against the construction of the third railway in Schwechat
