Airbus A220-300 Air Baltic (c)Prague Airport

Latvian airline Air Baltic is increasing capacity on the Riga-Prague route. We will meet the Airbus A220-300 alongside the Bombardier Q400 NextGen. The Air Baltic has 16 pieces in the fleet and the carrier will receive 6 more machines this year.

Air Baltic also increases the number of flights. During the summer season it will offer up to 11 flights a week. This will increase the overall capacity by up to 39%. More flights and a new type on the route are a clear confirmation of the fact that Air Baltic is doing well on the route and expects a significant increase in interest in connecting to Riga.

The Airbus A220-300 is equipped with wider seats and more cabin storage space. Larger windows will make your flight more pleasant. The aircraft achieves great results in the economy of operation. Airbus managed to reduce fuel consumption by up to 22%. This has also helped to reduce CO2 emissions by 20% and NOx emissions by 50%.
